TL;DR: Brought vehicle in for a quote for engine light and oil leak, charged for work I hadn't been made aware of, vehicle breaks down next day after they "fixed it", and chalked it up to dumb luck after I had asked them for some money back.

Good people here. They're honest and do excellent work. I'd strongly recommend to anyone.

But they said it was fixed, so I was happy. Next day my wife's oil pressure light comes on during her hour and a half trip to work and she gets to a gas station to put some oil in it. It runs right through and the stick is dry as a bone.

We get it fixed properly by a more competent establishment (after a 100 towing charge). I call them to get some money back because they did not finish what I had paid them for (oil was still leaking, obviously).

They chalked it up to dumb luck that the oil was leaking and said sorry.

Called to see if they give free quotes on things. They responded with yes. Went to have them check the Engine light and take a look at why my vehicle wouldn't hold oil. They call me back and say it'll be 80. Apparently they charge for checking why the engine light is on and replacing things before they contact you. So they can just charge you.

Came for some last minute work on my window and was blown away by their service! My driver's window had essentially fallen off its track, rendering my car borderline useless. I had called around and nobody could get me in for a week + because of 4th of July holiday. Laslie's was able to identify the part I needed over the phone, get me in that day, have the part in that afternoon, and have me out for less than I expected to pay, considering. Very friendly as well. When I walked out to my car it was sparkling! Inside and out! Not only this, but when I left my debit card at the counter (after close) they offered to send it with a trusted employee to meet me on the other side of town on his way home and deliver it instead of making me wait until after the holiday to pick it up. Very impressed, very happy. Will be back again for sure in the future.

Seems to me like they just wanted 80 bucks and to to deal with more important vehicles. I would have appreciated it more if they just told me they were too busy.

Great people. Quality work. Honest prices. They have always done my work at or under their estimate.

SERIOUSLY WATCH OUT FOR THESE GUYS !!! EVEN ANOTHER COMMENT SAYS NEARLY THE SAME THING, THEY LIE ABOUT BROKEN EQUIPMENT! TRY THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK. BUT I WOULD BET MY LIFE YOU WILL HAVE A NEW PROBLEM YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT IN YOUR CAR THAT THEY BRING TO YOUR ATTENTION. Even the Owner's response to the last comment is RIDICULOUS because he's talking like he looked at the leak himself and don't blame the problem on previous work, you act like you didn't check it out before you knew it was only good enough to push out the door, OR BETTER YET BEFORE YOU BEGAN THE WORK, CLEARLY EVEN OWNER IS UNQUALIFIED TO RUN A HONEST SHOP. Money is hard enough to come by, but my time I wasted jumping thru hoops that afternoon was nuts. I went in for just a state inspection because I have a buddy do all my work except certified things like this. (16$ for the state, nothing for them.) 45 minutes in I got a call from Paul telling me my wipers are bad and I have a light out. Of course 8$ each for cheap wipers (average price), 5$ for one light (pretty expensive). BUT my light is out?? No way, just checked them! SO being at Walmart down the road I'm back in minutes. I show up to the shop, my car is in the bay still and the technician (johnny) is fooling around in my trunk with my 3rd brake light.(Now I'm on high alert, I've already declined the work) Then, I'm told it was mistaken communication between Paul (manager) and Johnny. (tech) I told them no, and to put the burnt bulb back in and torn wipers back on. Even personally confirming with Paul, to put old stuff back on. I sit another 20 minutes, watching Johnny take the new stuff he "accidentally " started putting on, back off!!!(which was probably the most frustrating part!) After they finished that,I went to advanced Autoparts a mile down the road, where MAGICALLY I have EVERY light working again! And bought new wipers for 7$ each (dollar cheaper). So I have to shoot back over there, where I eventually get my pass sticker. BUT AT THE COST OF MY ENTIRE AFTERNOON OF HOOP JUMPING SPONSORED BY LASLIE!!! Craziest thing is, when I came back the second time. I initially get Paul agreeing with me that maybe Johnny left the new one in (even after he was told to put old stuff back on again), But when Johnny brought my car out, he tells me it is just faulty/short circuit, he put the old bulb back in. All this for a extra 5 dollar light charge (which I obviously never had to replace the light bulb), and only saved a dollar on each of the wipers. Probably would have even said okay if I didn't already KNOW every light was good in the first place. You should know the place is SHADY, WHEN on the receipt they give you AFTER your work has been done, says " NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PERSONAL BELONGINGS LEFT IN VEHICLE" It's all personal, it's MY car! I guess lying and stealing from customers is common up there. "The people who care" ..... about how much they can squeeze you for.
