I've never really had a bad experience with this vet, they are just really expensive. I have a small dog and her yearly exam (with no prescriptions) cost around $300. After my dog was in a bad situation and I took her to the emergency vet I realized they are cheaper than the Boonsboro clinic. I will be finding a new vet after being a client for 3 years.
Good place for your animal's healthcare.
After moving to the area, I found Boonsboro and scheduled neuters/declawing in-person for my cats. When I asked for an estimate a few times, it was never given to me. When I went to pick the cats up, they had told me that the declaw hadn't been scheduled and to make another appointment -- where I would have to again put my cats through trauma and the bills involved in pain meds and putting them under AGAIN. The bill was 3x the amount of competing vets, and they didn't even do half of what they were supposed to! When I explained the situation, they became very short with me. I will be taking animals elsewhere from now on after dealing with such incompetence.
For almost 29 years our dogs have been cared for by the folks at Boonsboro Animal Hospital. We've been through tough times and the sadness of saying good-bye, but we've also had the joy of good health and timely intervention and many years of happy and healthy Poodles . Nobody could ask for better care or more compassion than from Dr. Case and Dr. McConnell and all the staff at Boonsboro Animal Hospital. They are always willing to help, educate and provide the latest and best standard of care. We are so grateful to them.
The staff and management went out of their way to meet my needs. I'm sure they will make you feel as valuable as they have my family and dogs!
