The idiots gave my dog morphine without consent so he would be calm why he was being x-rayed and that was before they even asked if i was ok with him being x-rayed in short there's no price for my dogs life but all this money for fluids and morphine that they didn't even ask me if they could give him he's already been to one vet today and they gave him pain meds so why. Just why?
Low ratings are an opportunity to improve your service, not a place for you defend yourself. While I can appreciate that not all customers are right, you still need to treat people with respect. Even if you feel disrespected by a negative review, you should be the bigger person. Understandably as patients and customers we are sometimes going through emotions that lead us to make irrational decisions or make nasty statements. We come to you for help, support, and advice. Please understand that you are in business in a stressful industry. In these occasions you need to be the bigger person and handle these things appropriately.
Further, that response to one of the previous reviews as to they were never a customer of yours is ridiculous. I was a customer of yours at one point, through my mother, who is in your system no doubt....
This is a great place! Everyone was super friendly and we had no problems what do ever. We were able to wait outside with our dog and they came and got us when they were ready.
Took my dog here to be checked on from being attacked by a bigger dog, suffered head truma and bite wounds. All they were concerned with was how much money I was able to pay them. I told them I only had 100 dollars. The only thing they did was the exam and gave him pain meds.. but definitely made sure to tell me my dog could die if I couldn't pay, asking me if I know anyone who could help me with coming up with the money. All I can say if you care for your animals don't come here because instead of working with you on payments they would rather have your animal die. This place is pathetic.
I truly hope you take some positives from this review. I chose to leave my negative experience out of this to focus on something I felt was more important. Helping those after me get better service, instead of focusing on a bad experience I had in the past.
Also, as a business owner myself, a word of advice. When someone leaves a negative review, look at it as an opportunity to improve. Nobody is perfect, we all have flaws. These reviews are to help you out, not hurt your business. Call these people that leave you a bad review, or leave a response asking for them to call you. Ask what they feel you could have done better, ask what you could do to win their business again, ask what needed to be done to EARN a 5 star review.
Just because you don't see the reviewers name, doesn't mean they weren't a customer.
We brought our 7 month old cat in after being hit by a car (having no other choice at 10 PM AT NIGHT). Yes they sedated him and face him pain meds and took X-rays and made darn sure they kept us up to date signing estimates for the cost of care. Why is a procedure there $5000 compared to other vets $1000 to perform the same surgery?? This is wrong on all levels. What about the doing good for the sake of the animal.... no that is not their goal.. ITS MONEY!!! Dang Lynchburg these monopolies that consume all healthcare in Lynchburg need to be challenged!!!!! Aren't there any other vets who JUST WANT TO SERVE AND SAVE LIVES?? Please open up for emergency calls at night!!!!

I am in town and was hoping to find a place just to get my dog caught up on on its shots. After seeing the responses from the owner to the low ratings, I cannot see myself going here again.
