I'd give this a negative score if I could! I TRIED to get my husband help at this place. The 1st time I called they said he had to be weened down from his present dose before they could take him. Once he got to the amount they required I called again. This time they said they wouldn't help him BECAUSE he weened himself down. Now he's on his last day of meds and is in for pure hell! I told them this and the ONLY response they would give me is "I'm sorry. Take him to the ER if he needs it" What kind of "Treatment" center denies someone begging for help??? I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy!

The staff is very professional, but at the same time very personable and kind. I have had an extremely positive experience with this treatment facility. If you or someone you care for needs and WANTS help managing their disease of addiction I highly recommend this facility. The program has been very successful for me thus far. I didn't become addicted to opiates in a short time so I know I won't be able to manage my disease alone or quickly. The counselors are very understanding and knowledgeable of what your dealing with on a day to day basis and almost always available if you need to talk. This place and their amazing staff have given me a new outlook on life! Thank you Lynchburg treatment center!

This place was great to me and saved me life really. I started off in Roanoke where they raise your dose every 3 days in the beginning when you are going thru the worst withdrawals. This place only has a doctor there once a week so the patients who are new have to suffer thru a whole week before going up 10 mg. Come on y'all the whole point is to keep people from doing drugs. But when you go up so slowly people have to use other drugs too in order to work, etc. We are coming to you for help, but the help is taking to long. The doctor there needs to feel what withdrawals feel like one time and then let him try to go up 10mg a week without using anything else. It's a big step for most people to come there so treat them with respect and get them on a dose so they can not be in withdrawals for 2 or 3 weeks and use other drugs at the same time. They have to or they risk going into withdrawals at work and possibly loosing there job. Most people can't even work going thru withdrawals, but they are forced to or either use other drugs until this doctor decides a week has gone by. It's ridiculous. When I went thru intake at Roanoke at least I was only in withdrawals for a few days before I could manage. These people now are in agony for at least a month. Please try to find a doctor who thinks about keeping people there and not using street drugs while trying to do the right thing. Other than that, they have been nothing but great to me. I have no other complaints at all. The staff is great. Of course you have a few people who might be mean or having a bad day but you have to rate it on a whole and on a whole the staff is excellent and professional. Just please try to go up on intakes every 3 days, or even 5 days, a week is too long to wait for an addict who needs to stop using street drugs. All you causing is them to have to buy methadone and buy street drugs until they get on a dose that gets rid of most of the cravings. That defeats the point of what you guys are trying to do. So if this doctor won't change, get another one. Other than that don't change a thing. You're great!!!!

This treatment center has never given me any issues and only offered me opportunities to further advance my sober future and path. Putting this clinic in Lynchburg , VA not only saved my life but countless others as well so I thank them from the bottom of my heart

If I could rate ZERO I would. The staff treated my friend awful. The Counselor called her a liar and told her she was never going to straighten up. When my friend talked to the Clinical Director and the Nurse Supervisor they told her that if she didn't like how she was being treated that she could find some where else to go. My friend has since found some where else to go but it's awful that she has to drive to Richmond when there is a program in Lynchburg that could help her but the staff there talks to the patients any kind of way. If you ask around you will find plenty of patients that will tell you how they talk to them especially the ones that have left the program. You are losing a lot of patients because of the way they talk to people and a lot of the people think they are just out for the money that they truly do not want to help. The place would be good if you would get good caring people in there to work. Yea of course they are going to be on their good behavior if upper management comes in but if you will take the time and listen to the patients you will find out how the staff's behavior really is towards the patients.
