I have been dealing with this business for many years. Have also nothing but good things to say about them. I have had them to fix a lot of unusual things for me. The elderly lady always laugh at me and say, we'll try. Always did a good job. I also took a pair of shoes in to the shop that had seen better days. I didn't want to part with them. She told me the very same thing my husband told me, after this fixing you need to let them go. We had a big laugh about those worn out shoes.
This is a cute little shoe shop. The service here is quick and the people here couldn't be nicer! All that and they do great work.
Terrible service by the elderly lady at the counter. I took my shoes in for a repair. She said its time you get new shoes these are terrible. I will ask him if he can fix it but he probably won't. So she goes back to the guy who fixes shoes and then she says he can't fix them. I will never go there again. The elderly lady loves to say "no".
I appreciate the honesty and snarky attitude of the old farty lady that works here and frankly prefer it to the hello have a nice day greeting from a total stranger. They are sometimes unimaginative when reviewing a shoe and will say they can't do the work, but if you sling it back, i.e., "how odd, my cobbler where I last lived did this for me every few years," they will snap to, take the shoe, and do the gd work. Refreshingly hostile. Five stars.
