Rooms are clean. Gym equipment is pretty new. They have an outdoor pool but doesnt seems to get cleaned as often. Bartenders at the restaurant here are really nice.
Room service is prompt and only has a 2$ delivery fee making it super affordable. They do not have a complimentary breakfast but what they do offer is still affordable and super delicious. On top of all this they are pet friendly. The only down side is the room I'm staying in doesn't have smart light placement. It's always dim even with all the lamps on.
Great place to stay. Little drive from liberty University which I was visiting but stay was pleasurable.
Great location in downtown historic Lynchburg. We checked in late, about 9:45 p.m., and were greeted by a very nice front desk host who gave us an upgrade on our room. Had a wonderful one night stay!
The hotel has a great location in downtown Lynchburg but it still seems overpriced. Upon checking in at the hotel, we were given no directions to our room whatsoever, but we were able to find it on our own. The room itself had many issues. For one, the beds are on shoddy metal frames that wobble. Literally any movement in the bed is met with the feeling you're on a boat and that the bed might collapse. A piece of the metal frame was really jagged and covered with the bed skirt, resulting in a slight cut to the leg. The bathroom was what one would expect, but the door didn't shut properly. It was locked into an "open" position, meaning you could be using the bathroom and the door might swing open accidentally. The hair dryer also didn't work, which is something we were counting on using to get ready for the wedding we were in town for. Another thing we were planning on using was the iron, which worked as long as you weren't planning on using any steam, as water in the iron would leak all over whatever you were trying to iron. There were a couple burnt out bulbs in the room, and the outlets attached to the lamps were very loose or didn't work at all. The ice machine on our floor was also out of order, which was one of many, many minor/major inconveniences. Added together, the hotel room not only didn't add anything to our stay, it added stress to an already stressful event.
