I can honesty say this king house location. Isn't anywhere as good as the one on Ward's Road. The Sesame Chicken had barely any flavor, and most of the chicken in it was hard as a rock The Beef and Broccoli was super gross. All it tasted like was soy sauce. Its like that every time i go to this location too. It confuses me. They've got more people working there, but its never what you hope it to be. Yet the on Ward's Road only has 1 guy working there, and its always amazing.
Food actually isn’t bad. But they try to charge you for everything under the sun. I was especially miffed when they charged me .75 for a few flakes of chili pepper. I nearly walked out. I don’t feel I get quite as much value here, as I would at similar places, but I just get a strange feeling here. Like they are a little sleazy or something. Being someone that frequents fast Chinese spots, I try to trust my gut. But again, the food isn’t bad at all, just everything else is a little off putting.
Food that I ordered tasted good. Poor customer service. I decided to eat in the order did not look like a pint, of which I ordered. Cook was arguing. Was given one thin napkin. Will be last resort if I just have to eat somewhere.
Some of the better Chinese I’ve had in Lynchburg. It’s a hole in the wall and looks run down (-1 star), but the food is good and it comes at a pretty good price. The owners were nice and had our food ready quickly.
Bathroom was horrible
I've eaten lunch there 2 days In a row with friends from work. The staff is nice, you get your food quickly, and the food is good. Will go back.
