Wait time to be seated was great, however wait time for everything else was unacceptable. The waitress took 20 minutes to drop off water, pick up our order, and then took another 20 minutes to drop off a few salads. The food itself was decent, but frozen food from kroger probably tastes better than what they made. Not to mention, it took an entire hour for the food to get to the table once the order was made. I will never come back here again.
There's enough indoor and outdoor seating for a family, just try to avoid going during peak meal times so you can get your choice.
Very good food, service is always on point. Cool location right next to the train tracks. Parking is ample but not easy then again that is expected due to the area. They have a great tap list and always have good craft on tap. I'm a huge fan of their hand breaded chicken tenders...I hear their burgers are good too although I don't eat beef!
To be honest, it's just okay. The Depot Grille has a nice, rustic atmosphere and is literally about 15 feet from a live set of train tracks which is really cool. Unfortunately, the meal is pretty expensive (which is interesting because Lynchburg is a college town) and not really all that good.
My family loves this place! Allyson, our server was so pleasant and attentive. The catfish sandwich I had and my husband's crab cake sandwich were delicious without being over-salted or heavily breaded. Hope to go again before the year is over.
Such a fun place! The service was excellent and so was the food. Would definitely come back again. It was overall a 10/10 experience. Not a single complaint from anyone in my group of friends that went with me!
