Very disappointed. I would never go back.
I was visiting family from out of town, and decided to check out some local bridal shops for ideas for wedding dresses for my October beach wedding. They had a great selection! Natasha was very helpful and accommodating to my needs. She recommended some styles suitable for the beach. I was not expecting to make a purchase, but I found what I was looking for in this gem of a store! Highly recommend!!
This was a horrible experience for me. I went here to get my dress altered. I had to go by myself because of my crazy work schedule. The staff was rude and not helpful during the entire process where I felt I should have been helped and cared for being a bride who had to go by herself. When I went for my final fitting, my dress did not look how I envisioned at all. I had not lost or gained any weight and my dress was still too big. When I was grabbing at fabric, the tailor's response was 'that's how the dress is made' after I had showed him pictures of how it fit the model in the picture I showed. Once he has realized that his work was sub-par, he told me he could fix it in an hour. At that point, I had had enough and decided to take my dress to another place to get fixed. He still charged me full price for a job that was not done well. DO NOT GO HERE TO GET YOUR DRESS ALTERED. I am 3 weeks away from my wedding and still having to go get my dress fixed.
As a photographer, I know the wedding dress is a huge deal! The Bride must not only love the dress, but also her experience. Every single bride I've worked with that has purchased their dress through Celebration has had the best experience. She leaves confident, happy, and looks radiant on her big day!
I had the best experience from shopping to alterations to problem solving. If you are spending a ton of money, you want to feel good about it - and Celebration's staff makes you feel awesome about your choices and every step of the process. I've been in the shop when there were dozens of brides and their families and also when I was the only one there; I felt just as attended to in both situations. I don't know many people in the area, but if you are in Virginia at all, it is worth the trip.
