I scheduled with Emily Harris as my hair and makeup artist for myself and bridesmaids for my wedding in late October. I can not express how amazing of a job she did! Even leading up to the wedding day, she did multiple trials (as I changed my mind several times) until she knew I was happy and comfortable with the end result.
I have lived in major cities--LA, NYC, ATL, DC....I have never trusted anyone more than I do this salon. Any negative feedback should be disregarded.
Facilities are pretty nasty. Not too relaxing when its kind of dirty and run down. Spend a little more and go to a nicer place.
Had an appointment and I waited 20 minuites, no one bothered to let me know my stylist was running late or check to see if I minded waiting. Very unprofessional, I left and will not be returning.
On the wedding day she worked very quickly and efficiently to finish everyone’s hair and my makeup on time. My hair and makeup looked AWESOME! Her assistant did an amazing job with my bridesmaids makeup as well! Emily seems to really care about her brides! She even expressed how she loses sleep the night before a wedding day because she wants everything to go smoothly as much as I, the bride, would! I thought this just showed how much she cares about her clients and the quality of work she puts out. I would highly recommend Emily at Bodyworks to any future bride looking for an experienced and qualified professional hair and makeup artist. You won’t be disappointed!
Fantastic massages, best in Lynchburg. Masseuse is by far the most knowledgeable and skilled I've had. I won't go anywhere else now.
