Dr. Dabney is very judgemental. Definitely won't be going back.
Before I visited, I did a little homework and noticed the 1 star review among recent reviews. Notice that the patient was extremely happy except with 1 problem (and her 1 problem was, if I'm going on her description, more an issue of loopholes and procedures with requests and transferring of data causing issues than the office's unwillingness to help). Even she was highly satisfied with her experience in the office otherwise. Drawing information and getting permission to do so is extremely difficult for individuals working in the medical profession so please be understanding and kind. I say that from years of medical treatment (allergy and blood treatments from childhood between different offices) and experience in retail.
I had a mild procedure done here on short notice.
Extremely professional and efficient office staff. Doctor Woods and her nurse are both wonderful! Dr. Woods is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to ... she listens and answers all questions with clarity and compassion.
The staff members were so so sweet and I felt terrible for getting angry with them (if it was just them I was rating they would get 5 stars), but the overall experience still left a bad taste in my mouth and I would not feel comfortable returning to this location because I would not want to see Dr Dabney again. If he's any indication of what the other physicians are like, I'd steer clear. The prospect of visiting this place again actually gives me anxiety.
I love this place. Dr. Wood and Patricia were amazing. I was astounded by their level of flexibility. Also, I didn't grab her name, but the office assistant? that checked me in was super kind and extremely helpful.

Saw Dr. Dabney once and will never go again. He never let me talk or ask questions and somehow managed to get his political beliefs in there. Sorry you don't get to tell me what my husband and I should think about abortion. A gynecologist should be a safe place for a woman and I definitely just had a bad feeling the moment I walked in. Trust your gut feelings! Now the office staff and medical staff seemed really sweet! So no issue there! I just don't recommend specifically, Dr. Dabney
Speaking with Dr Dabney was equally disappointing. I felt like a used car salesman was trying to convince me to get a different form of birth control that I was not interested in. I feel that he gets a kickback from prescribing this certain brand of birth control and that I did not get an objective opinion when I asked him legitimate questions about the form of birth control that I was interested in.
I am so conflicted about this place. Everyone tells me the bad experience I had was an isolated incident but I really can't shake the bad vibes I get from this place. I was a first time patient who just wanted to have a conversation with Dr Dabney about birth control and ended up waiting almost 2 hours in total and the only reason I ended up seeing him without having to wait longer was because I stuck up for myself and let the staff know that I was having a really poor first impression of the place.
