I never liked Cream of Tomato soup, that is until I had the Drowsy Poets. It's so unique and delicious. I really can't say enough for it. After several dozen coffee's, I'm certain that you'd be hard pressed to find a better cup in all of Lynchburg. They have, normally, 4 brewing every day. I'm a huge fan of the toasted macaroon. The spicy bean dip is also fantastic and makes a perfect side to any number of their many soups, sandwiches and salads. (All of which arrive at your table looking like they are straight out of a food magazine)
The two older ladies working as baristas weren't in a good mood. Maybe it was the heat? I don't know. I ordered an iced latte. My question is who serves an iced latte in a hot coffee cup without a straw? If you don't know how to make an iced latte why are you offering it?

The latte wasn't very good: simultaneously watered down and too strong.
I like the atmosphere in here but I won't be getting any food or drinks from here again.
Great coffee (great variety, awesome quality), and good atmosphere. Solid customer service, as well! Highly recommended place to relax.
I went here over the weekend and got a cup of Highlander Grogg. I really enjoy this flavor. If you like flavored coffee, this is a fun one to try.
