The Academy Center of the Arts is an excellent facility. I have attended a number of events and fundraisers there and have always enjoyed the shows. The theaters are small so everyone has a good seat. They staff provides excellent seating and care for handicapped and elderly patrons that need help.
Great atmosphere and show. Parking a bit of a challenge but it's downtown.

This historic venue has been beautifully renovated into a great new venue for Lynchburg. I attended Lynchstock Fall Festival there last month, and I was very impressed by how nice the place was.
